I put this together for another poster here on the board who was having problems with his other project, but he had already ordered all the parts for the silverfox.

He wanted me to to do a footswitchable dual gain mod so I ommited r3 from the board and put the 10k resistors from lugs 2 to 3 on each of the gain knobs. Then I wired up 1 and 3 from the board to a 3dpt footswitch. I used the 3rd pole to switch on the LED for GAIN B.

Sound wise I am REALLY impressed. I was expecting the same old tubescreamer sound but it is really refined. All the controls have a really nice feel to them, the trim pots are nice but subtle, and the tone pot sounds great through the whole sweep.

The gain is HUGE on this pedal with the 1M gain pots and surprisingly not that noisy at all.

Very nice! I could definitely see that on my board.

My family did everything on christmas eve so I woke up and started building this silverfox. I know that I really love building pedals when that is what I wanted to do with my christmas morning.
