The Sept. releases are being pushed to about Oct. 5th. Two reasons: I need a bit more time to complete the documentation and get the (approx. 100) FV-1 EEPROMs programmed, and also I am waiting to receive my box from PPP to verify the drilling template for the Dreamtime Delay (which will be available to order through them).
Here's what will be dropping:
1590A Pepper Spray (Percolator) giveaway starting Oct. 5th! I got more of these than I did the Donut so they should last a bit longer.
Dreamtime Delay (1590A FV-1 project w/EEPROM included)
Headtrip (1590B FV-1 project w/EEPROM included)
Waveloard TAPLFO3 project (very limited quantity to start but more in Nov).
9mm Alpha Pot Panel (also very limited quantity - 36 mini PCBs for wiring those pesky 9mm pots).
Free 10th Anniversary sticker has already been shipping with every order for the last 2 weeks and will continue for the rest of the year and into 2019 (the real 10th anniversary).
I also plan to build up a few Dreamtime pedals for sale just to say I did. Here is a preview of the finished box (this is just test UV printing). Not sure how I will market these (if at all) but I hope to do about a dozen by the end of the year. Note: this artwork is not available through PPP - only the pre-drilled 1590A box!
The Dreamtime box looks nice. I am intrigued at hearing a demo of the Headtrip. The Dreamtime demo holds up well for repeated listens.
Right on... Any idea yet on pricing for the fv-1 projects?
Excellent! Also curious about the price for FV-1 projects... small amount of loose change dangling in paypal pocket... :-\
Love me some delay

Will it be possible to swap the eeprom out of the Dreamtime and make it, say, a reverb? I get that it's a single effect deal...

The Dreamtime has a reverb in it, actually. The switch selects between the delay and internal FV-1 modulated reverb. You can also use a low profile socket if you want to swap the EEPROM out. You can even program a new EEPROM in circuit. All this will be explained and illustrated in the doc.
Sweet. So it would reference to program 0 on the FV-1? I'm looking forward to reading the doc.

Yes, the default program is 0 when the "reverb" switch is toggled.
Just a note I'm pushing this back again to a tentative date of the 10th. Sorry for the extra delay. It's taking me much longer to finish everything than I anticipated. But, I will start uploading project docs as I complete them before the the release date (I hope). This is a pretty big release with some detailed documentation. Not to mention that these are challenging builds.
Excite!
Still behind but coming as soon as I can finish up.

cool boxes for Wavelord and Headtrip.
N-i-i-i-ce. All three of these boxes are really tasteful. The fine detail in the paisley design (Headtrip) is amazing.
Those look amazing!
those faceplates!
I'm looking forward to reading the documentation for the FV-1 pedals. The designs on the Wavelord and Headtrip almost look copper plated. Very impressive.

That's because they are. ;)
Brian etched black copper-clad PCBs for those faceplates.
that is part mystifying, and part over-the-top-crazy-good. : ^ )
Where did you get these black copper boards I found some on Ebay. I would love to try this.

abcfab is the seller on eBay.
Perfect ordered some! Did you sand the backs to get them to sit flat?
Bravo on those. Etched copper?
Dreamtime doc is up. Hopefully I'll have one more doc up today and the rest tomorrow.
Super cool!
The build docs are very nice and the SMD practice pads were a great idea. I'm looking forward to ordering some of these, when they're available.
So, on the Headtrip I've decided to include the SpinCAD file used to make the patches for the project. I'm really hoping people will take advantage of that to start exploring SpinCAD to program their own stuff. It's really pretty easy once you get the hang of it. That doc should be up tomorrow. I still plan on doing an introductory tutorial to SpinCAD before the end of the year. Things is pretty crazy ATM, though.

That is awesome! I'm really glad you are doing that. I've been wanting to get into SpinCAD and fv-1 programming, but haven't had the time to learn.
Yes! Awesomesauce!
Nice job on the Dreamtime docs! I'm looking forward to practicing the SMD soldering. And a super compact design using the separate board for the pots.

That is a great idea. I was motivated to learn spincad and spent a few hours on it and just gave up
Headtrip doc is up.

Me too! Can't wait to try these out.
I was thinking abut buying a Pickit2 in anticipation of getting one of these projects. There are several on Amazon, does anyone know if they are all the same? If not, can someone provide a link to a reliable version?
I have also noticed that there is a Pickit3 along with several different makes of Pickit2.
I was thinking of buying one as well, but was not sure which one to go with.
I like the documents for both of the new FV-1 projects. Is there going to be a demo of the Headtrip posted before the orders go live? I'm leaning toward ordering both boards, but would like some idea of how the Headtrip sounds. (even suggestions of similar effects on other FV-1 pedals if those videos are posted)

Yes, everything will be live tomorrow. Headtrip and Wavelord videos and the boards for sale. Should be up by early afternoon. I just finished the Wavelord doc and I need to finish the PepperSpray next (mostly done).
Wavelord doc is up.
This release batch is looking awesome! Thanks Brian.
This feels like feeding time at a fishtank. Damn I love new releases!!!
