Alber pedals on ebay

Has anyone had a chance to listen to one of these pedals?  Experience tells me they are all clones of well-known pedals.  I just wonder if they are good enough to recommend.  I have lots of teenage students asking for cheap pedal recommendations and am always on the lookout for good cheap products for them.  $30 buck is good for kids.

The shipping to europe kills this for me, but at $30 you could just buy 2 or 3 and test them. If they are crap, you could at least re-use the enclosures (looks pretty cool IMO), knobs, jacks etc....

this is about the only video demo i see of their stuff. Did you see this one?
Doesn't sound horrible, definitely not anything to go completely crazy over either. Delay sounds pretty clean though. For a low price like that i wonder. I agree those enclosures are pretty awesome. Also funny how they use cassette tape film as a logo for the delay...hmmmm
