Reminds me of the time way back when a very well known pedal maker threatened to "destroy" MBP over some of my (original) layouts. Not really a professional way to handle things.

That's vexing.

My 2 cents/2 points

1) If >I< can figure out Eagle enough to make my own layouts.......

2) Although the learning curve varies from individual to individual (i.e. I'm sure there are plenty out there smarter about this stuff than myself), taking the plunge into Eagle (even being coddled by Jacob's tutorials) is enough to illustrate why folks are protective of their layout artwork. I'd have a hard time being proud of replicas like that one.

It wasn't even a good hack. No mitered edges==noob.

Now I'm dying to know who the threatening "well known pedal maker" was.
I build, and once in a while I might sell, pedals as "Vertigo Effects".

I don't know but if I read everything right somebody left a clue a few comments back.
