I am fine with the 125B having a different designation. It is after all the best box to house 99% of all pedals in.  8)

My options to Australia are UPS and DHL, both 2-4 day delivery.  DHL has been shocking lately, it gets to Australia overnight and then spends a week in the system before I get it.  Going to try UPS next time.  I think I've used them before but I can't remember.

I LOATH UPS. Twice I have had things delivered to me and they just gave it to one of my neighbors without leaving any notice to which one. I had almost started a refund procedure when one of them finally showed up. DHL has treated me a lot better in that regard.

I don't have kids at all, but knowing what a bunch of pigs men can be I'd have to think raising girls would have shorted my life span considerably.

You only have to watch TikTok, or just your average girls night out on the town to see that women are just as big at being pigs as men.

Maybe this is a sign to invest in an IR loader? An IR of your favorite speaker might be the next best thing, and it also allows you to audition speakers before actually buying them.

It looks like I got out of the hobby just in time. Now the only thing I still occasionally build are kits, so no more sourcing hassles.

Anyone to shy to show their real face could still hide behind an avatar. I think Zoom allows for that option. Most important thing is to auto-mute every participant except for the hoster though, as the focus window will shift to anyone having a cough, eating a snack or who just breathes heavily otherwise. Pressing the space bar will unmute anyone if they want to ask or say something.

Late reply, but these look really great.  Fantastic work.

Thanks man! Been working on a lot more. At times during the lockdowns it was all I had to do. I've been blessed by my appartment neighbors never complaining.  8) I'll get around to posting some more soon.

Is Netflix still offering their shows through the binge model? No wonder they're losing subs and money.

Gibson definitely deserves some of the complaints they get about QC.  For example, Jimilee's tool marks are absurd.

I tend to be more understanding about setups as wood often moves during storage and/or shipping as it goes from one environment to another.  I've seen some really bad setups on new guitars that sat in a warehouse somewhere; and not just Gibsons.  My local guitar shop does setups on every guitar that comes in the store.  Some manufacturers are better than others at factory setups, but even the better ones move around a bit from the time they leave the factory and may need tweaking.

Yeah, but for a guitar that costs me €1000 I will accept that there should be some setup required. For €3000 I expect it to play well straight out of the box. Solar delivers good playability straight out of the box at around a €1000 every time. Gibson remains hit and miss. Maybe they should move away from hand built into using more CNC so their guitars become more consistent. Hand built by a luthier makes sense. Hand built by a guy working minimum wage is a different thing. A luthier worth his or her name strives for quality. You only need to see Ben's videos from Crimson Guitars the absurd attention to detail he tends to go too. A guy working minimum wage is just clocking in hours. That is why CNC has revolutionized guitar building, bringing in a consistency in quality that used to vary, depending on whoever was in charge of management.

Gibson is just not worth the money they're charging you for it. Glenn Fricker had a video about the Dave Mustaine signature he had ordered for $2800. It wasn't even properly set up. For that kind of money you expect it to play right straight out of the box. It's made in America products with Chinese levels of quality control. You might as well save you some money and order a Chibson straight away.

Speaking of large birds, I was driving home last weekend and there was suddenly a traffic jam on the entry road into the city. I thought the city was doing some road work again. Turned out there was a swan standing in the middle of the road and every car had to go around it.

Did you see the new Kenobi trailer?

Looks good to me, can't wait.

I've very much enjoyed Mando and Boba Fett, high hopes that the shows continue being good.

Boba Fett sucked hard, acted completely out of character and was an extra in his own show. Like most Disney Marvel shows by the way. And have you heard about the leaked Kenobi ending? Strong wahmen is going to save the day it would seem. Which is by now the standard method of operation that Disney employs. Take a well liked character, be it Star Wars or Marvel, from before the Disney acquisition, put it next to a new character created after the Disney acquisition (which means Disney owns the full rights) and belittle or make look stupid the well liked character in order to make the Disney character look good.

I don't even like steak. Never did. Give me chicken or pork any time over steak.

Considering the whole sorting them out to find matched pairs I'd probably need so many as I already have in SMD counterparts. Might as well stick with those.

He was the one that demoted Pluto... Very cool opportunity man, I bet your wife was looking yours the rest of the night.

Dwarf planets are planets too! So what if the discovery of other dwarf planets like Eris and Sedna means that memorizing all the planets would become a bit harder. It's like with pedals, moar is better!
