This is my first all at home board etching project.
I etched the Nautilus board and my own 3PDT board.
There was a lot that could go wrong with the etches, but my biggest problem was my unfamiliarity with Vactrols.
I had them in upside down for a while.  Once I flipped them over it was all good.

The Nautilus sounds nice, I guess.  I'm not a big fan of envelope filters, so this sounds as nice as any other.  They don't really suit my sound well.  I like deep and thick bass with not a lot of treble and filters don't usually sound their best with that tone. I tooled around with it on my treble guitar and it sounds fine on that frilly little toy.

Outside: I tried to do something fancy with spray paint, clear coat, and rain.  It just ended up looking like a crappy paint job.

Inside: Check out those home made board, eh?

Fwiw I think it all looks outstanding! I live envelopes but I don't have any on my board and have built several. Their just not practical for the type of music I play. It saddens me, because I like them.
Pedal building is like the opposite of sex.  All the fun stuff happens before you get in the box.
