I have a Rodenberg GAS-827 Overdrive here and was wondering if Madbean would be interested in back engineering it for the community. Don't know much about the builder but these are well made pedals.
Here is the link for the webpage. You have to use google page translator to view it in english.

Nice sounding pedal. I started to dig inside and it is all normal whole thru electronics with lots of swithes, clickless switching, etc. It is a clean boost and an overdrive in one box.
I don't have the time to do the project but if there is interest I can send it to Madbean for the full monty.

Cheer,
Chris

Great Swirly!
I wish everyone was married to my wife...Well, er.. one like mine ;D
She designs and applies the graphics, prints out the pcb transfers and plays thru a few of my pedals and the whole time is completely into to the whole deal.  I just bought her a $3500 Taylor so I am in good graces for the moment. Love you Rosie :-*

My friend Dennis talked me into giving away a pedal to celebrate the end of his 30 pedals in 30 days demo run on his youtube channel. If you want to enter follow the link and subscribe to his youtube page and then you have to leave a message under the contest announcement video. You get your choice of the Dinky Dong Booster or my version of the Frequency Central Little Angel Chorus.

Hi Mike,
That is great! You don't sound like a redneck, you sound like an Amirracan! I did the vid for my big knob box down at the local music store with my friend Mattias and we completely missed any chance to be as entertaining as you guys. Somebody saw the video and bought the pedal yesteday so it must have been ok. I will make a better one next time.

I would love to use a switch like that for a looper and new pedal builds.  I was thinking something along those lines before, utilizing a relay and quieter switch for a true bypass.  Sometimes when you gotta switch a pedal or 3 during a quiet break the clicks seem to resonate across the room.  :(

I'm not paying $26 for a switch though....
Not quite $26 a switch but about half

Cool video. Would be nice to see the labels of the knobs so we know what you are changing and maybe some commentary. I hate the sound of my own voice and I fall into the trap of '..open your mouth and prove you are in idiot.' category bit it is kind of cool to get an idea of who it is on the other side of the world we interact with everyday and know very little of. I subscribed and friended you up on youtube. I am going to make a video of a Tonebender MKII I just built today but it is not a madbean associated build so I will post word of  it at DIY. Keep up the good work.

Back In Black in the middle of Tell Me Ma....fuckin' funny!

Wow, BofH(love the moniker)
You have been busy it looks like. How about some better pictures and some gut shots of what you have going on. I take it the J. Deville switching units are much like the one RG has at AMZ? What band are you in btw?
Cheers and thanks for the pictures.

What band are you in?

I am a professional drummer. mainly gig with blaggards http://blaggards.com/ about 150 nights a year. I do some other gigs when I can everything from hip hop to indie rock stuff.
Wow, you guys play a lot! I will have to forward the link to the singer in my wife's band. She is an Irish girl and is looking to start a rockabilly band. Maybe the blaggards will be her inspiration!
Cheers
