Reminds me of "Aural Method" and "Lowercaise Noises", both groups that I discovered recently and liked quite a lot.

If you like TWDY, you should also check out Hammock.

Thanks! I'll check them out this evening

Annual free street fest, got to see this guy again for the first time in 23 years, Thurston Moore and his new band... then off to see Yo La Tengo. So many bands and not possible to see anywhere near all of them, four stages.

If my photos are missing again... they're hosted by photobucket... and as of 06/2017 being held hostage... to be continued?

Wye Oak, you guys.

Had to turn it off after 20 seconds. I was feeling sea sick.

I've had the opportunity to see robin live, in a small club. He is still phenomenal.

Mate at work loaned me the CD. My favourite is probably Wrecking Ball, but this track makes me think of my Dad :) "Everything's digital, I'm still analogue!"

Yes. Big Wreck again.

Stay tuned till at least 3:00 for the epic guitar solo. No really, it's good.

This one's long, but if you stay till the end, you won't regret it.

Good memories, man. When I lived in NYC in the mid to late 90s, I got to see Sonic Youth's various side projects quite often. I was lucky enough to meet them too. Also, I saw Yo La Tengo play for free at Union Square. Cyndi Lauper opened up for them! They were awesome and Tara Key, the ferocious guitarist from Antietam, joined them onstage.
