Yay more Louisiana people! That's the main reason I order from PPP too (b/c they're in my state, not for the Jolly Ranchers. Though that is a plus lol).

Still trying to decide what to do for my 2012 limited edition.

Why don't you make a White Stripe Fuzz and invert all the colors? :)

A lot of the older posts got deleted a while back. The image upload thing was full or something, so Brian had to delete old stuff.

I don't have the mod, but I'm sure someone does. ;)

Alrighty, thanks!

Does the Runt use board mounted 9mm pots? Actually, do all the baby boards use them?

General Questions / Substitute for 1N34A?
March 18, 2012, 09:18:04 PM
A while back I had purchased the instructions for modding a Blues Driver from the Monte Allums site. Well I finally got around to doing it yesterday. I had every part I needed except for a 1N34A Germanium diode. Is there anything I can replace it with? Currently, I only have these diodes: 1N4148, 1N4004, 1N4002, 1N4001, 1N4742, 1N5819, and 1N270.

The mod sounds pretty good like it is, but I'd like to finish the mod completely lol

Got it! Thanks!

So basically they just connect to each other? Vb's to vb's, vr's to vr's, etc?

Yesterday I bought everything I need to make my own breadboard prototyping rig. So I want to get a few schematics and possibly toy around with making my own circuit but I'm a bit of a noob when it comes to schematics. I'm not wanting to make a Timmy, but this schematic has the example I wanted to ask about.

What is VB and how does the top part attach to the rest of the schematic?

This one also has the same type of disconnected part, but it says V+ and VR (whatever THAT means...): http://home.centurytel.net/flanneldrawers/mbb-sch-n.jpg

HALP MEH!

Very nice! Mind if I ask where you got those knobs?

Yes, the Boss needs Normally Closed and the DL4 needs Normally Open. I know it's possible to make a switch for it, but I don't know how to do it, unfortunately. :(

But the two sides are different. It's more like an 808 and some other higher gain OD.
