If I want to put an LED on a switch like the octave switch on a Wolfshirt would I just run a wire from the octave side of the switch to the LED's anode or would I need a CLR in between the switch and the anode? I'm wanting the LED to indicate the octave being on.
Whoops...could a mod move this to the "How do I?" forum, please?
Use a CLR and LED as normal, and use a DPDT toggle for the Octave switch instead. First row get the two wires that connect to the Oct pads on the PCB. On the second row of lugs, wire the - side of the LED to the outside lug and center lug to ground. Now when you switch the Oct on, the LED will light up.
good info.
So...like this?
Yep, should work.
