deadringer build.  great sounding overdrive.  this is one of the first overdrives ive done.  i love it.  i may have to trade in my fuzz addiction for an overdrive addiction.   I just hope I don't O.D. on OD.

The pastyface is awesome, but I would love to see a project for the mkI tone bender.  I know it is a bitch to bias, but I have to have one.  Now that i think of it, I would like to see a vox tonebender project as well.  Since you have so much free time, just go ahead and do all the tonebender variations  .   I'll build them all in one giant six foot long enclosure.

I am building a zygote using the road rage to flip voltage.  I tested the circuit without the road rage ( positive ground), and it worked perfectly, but once I connect it to the road rage, it doesn't work at all.  The led doesn't even come on.  There's got to be something I'm missing.  I've triple checked my wiring and my road rage components and have found no errors.  How do I check the road rage to see if it's flipping the voltage properly?

I am getting ready to build the deadpool and for c6, it calls for a 2.2u film cap.  I don't have one, but I do have the following:  a tantalum cap, a xicon 10% non-polarized electrolytic, and a topmay 1u box film cap (suggested as a substitution).  What would be the best component to use in this build?   

Does anyone know what gains I should use for the 2n5088 transistors in the deadringer?

I have seen some progress made on tracing this pedal on fsb, but have not seen a verified version yet.  This is a cool 8 bit fuzz.  A few people have said it is similar to the dh pitch shifter project on general guitar gadgets. 

I've completed the grapevine and breadboarded it and when I hook up the on/on switch as it is shown in the build instructions, I get a great sound out of the down position, but a much lower and undistorted signal out of the up position.  I messed with it a bit and found that when I hook the two wires from dpdt1 together on the same lug (middle lug of the left hand column), I get a good signal.  Could I have done something wrong on the pcb?  Should I just wire it with both dpdt1 wires hooked together or continue searching for a solution?
