Hi!

Here is my new project MBP Low Rider. I re-named this: octApus.
I use the 1N34 diodes and 2N5457 transistors, and the fuzz mod instruction.

Absolutely beautiful:) ... and its a great circuit, i love my lowrider.

What technique do you use for those deep-reliefed etches? laser? Because it is "deep", right, my eyes arent fooling me?

Cheers!

Yes, laser engraving.

Classy build mate, perfect inside and out. Really need to find a friend with a laser engraver ;), Matt.

Hey, I like that orange! The etch is really sweet-looking too. My Lowrider is hanging around waiting for a box, and I was actually thinking of orange or yellow. I used the 2n5457s and 1n34s for D1 & 2 as well and like it a lot.

Excellent graphic!

I got super incredible excited and curious when I saw the light halo, but then I realized it was your overhead lighting. Ah well!

You should enter this in the contest if you haven't already. :)

raulduke

Really cool build dude.

Love the wiring too; neat and tidy like it should be!

I did too, I was stoked. The inside is so clean.
Pedal building is like the opposite of sex.  All the fun stuff happens before you get in the box.

This is a seriously good-looking build, inside and out! And your work bench looks so organized..... How do you do that?  ;)

Thanks guys!
I like the organized inside and outside (and work bench  ;) ). I think, the pedal-building is an ART.

Even without the light halo, this is a super build, so neat inside & out!

Now who is going to be first to build a real light halo into their enclosure???

Pedals like this really make me wish I had laser engraving capabilities...looks fantastic.

That's a beautiful build.  I too was suckered by the overhead lighting (LED ring light?) but it looks great regardless. Nice wiring, too.

A quick demo from my octApus (octaver) pedal. Sorry for the quality and guitar themes.  :P

That thing is great!  I want to add it to my list.  Is it tricky to build, like they say?
