There are two other fuses on the PCB on the secondaries of the power transformer. F2 1AFB for the B+ and F3 1AFB for the heaters.

Please post voltages and pictures of your wiring.

Can you melt the solder side and weasle it in there?

No problem. The PCB is my favorite part. Also, RG Keen's (from GEOFEX) book PCB layout for musical effects (something like that) is a good one for takeoff.

You want to avoid traces that are longer than necessary.

For example, do you need the IN pad to be all the way up there? Perhaps closer to R1. If not, you can have the trace from IN go directly down then branch off to the base of Q1 and R1 rather then going all the way to R1 and looping back to Q1.

Same for the top pad of Q1. Instead of where it begins to go south east, have it go straight up to D1. At where it branched off to go north, make another trace going down the resistor and IC.

It seems you are making it more like a racetrack when it should be more like a web. You always want to shortest distance rather than the order of how it may appear on the schematic.

How is your jack wired? Are you daisy chaining other pedals? What's the pedal?

I assume Eagle isn't the only application that checks consistency between the schematic and board, right? That's the main reason I started using it.

I don't recall express PCB doing it. I hope this ends up going well, but I could easily see it going south quickly.

No airlines I have been on have taken kindly to carry on guitars. I think it's a real gamble.

There's Hollywood and whatnot hear in LA, but having lived in both north and south CA, I'd suggest heading north sooner rather than later. Assuming your taking highway 1, Big Sur is a must stop! Even for just a quick afternoon. Take a trolley ride in SF, see the bridge, then definitely get up to the Redwoods as Lars suggested.

Crater lake in Oregon is super cool too. Take a boat to Wizard Island!
