Hello all,

I've built two total recalls. Both function well, but one has very overdriven repeats. It seems like it is coming from the NE570 chip. The signal is clean going in, but overdriven coming out of pin 7. This is with the feedback all the way down.

All of the voltages are within 0.2 V of the build doc except pin 7, which reads 5.6 (1 V higher than the doc).

Does this sound like a bad NE570? They are expensive or I would just pick up a new one, and I already gave away the other build

btw, I can't bias it out of even the first MN3008.

Any thoughts?

Hello all,

I am building a multi that I will probably regret

Its going to have a Machete (overboard fuzz), Corrupter (ring mod), and Sonic reducer (bit crusher). I want to have a global blend knob(s) to keep the dry signal available. I've seen a few boards on THcustoms and guitarpcb but would love suggestions, esp. in light of the fuzz with the blends I've seen having buffers in them.

Might still be more than you want to spend, but a mac mini running windows could work well.

Thanks everyone for hte kind words! I added a short demo

I bought cheap "glad-lock"-style plastic bins meant for leftovers from the grocery and used a label maker for "resistors" "capacitors" "electrolytics", etc. They stack well, are easy to expand to new categories, and there's a size thats about perfect for filing Mouser-size bags to keep things in order. System cost about $5.00.
