Yep, so far I've used those on every 1590A build I've done.  I like the fact that I can mount the board to the jacks with double sided tape.

I have done that, it just makes wire routing a pain.

The side of the jack with the ground connection has a bevel on the case.  I you have both bezels face each other you create a nice wiring channel.  Even one bezel is enough for the output wire, however.
