Open Discussion / Re: Standing wave patterns

Standing waves are excellent.

If you find it interesting, you should read more about standing waves in conjunction with infrasound and their effect on the human body.  My memory is a bit hazy, but a certain frequency around 18hz (give or take 2hz) is the resonant frequency of the human eyeball.  In conjunction with standing waves, this can lead to distorted vision which manifests in different ways, which is one explanation for ghost sightings; people are passing through standing waves and "seeing" things that aren't there.

Fun fun fun!

It's a fulltone 70's fuzz, & I do have the doc.  I can email it to ya if you'd like, just PM me your addy.

Crikey!  Much appreciated.  Well, for anyone else who looks upon this thread, at least you get to see a "vintage" Madbean board  :D
I'll PM you now, Haberdasher.  Thanks again!

Anyone know what this actually builds?  It's only been 8 years...  I know it's a Fuzz Face of sorts, but that's the limit of my understanding.

More pertinently, does anyone have the bom/build instructions for this lurking on their hard drive?  I've gone through three PCs since I bought this, ha ha.

Shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit we have the exact same Tele Plus Deluxe!  Here's mine:

I've since removed the gaffa and the silly heart sticker.  I love Tele Pluses.  Great range of tones.

Here's the guitar I got yesterday:

I waited a year for it to be made.  Totally worth it.

This band make me want to quit music.  Their original MO was to make electronica in a live band context.  They went beyond that to make something utterly unique.
The musicianship is... mind boggling.  The drummer is an absolute demon.  We played a show with his old band and the crowd ended up just chanting his name by the end of the show.

Apart from the huge volume boost (careful!) they are a polar opposite sound; aggressive and heavy as opposed to the warmth of the germanium.  The best way I can describe a switch would be "vintage" and "modern"  ;D

The octave is still there though as the q3/4 pair are still doing their thing.

Try some red 3mm LEDs as clippers.  Trust me, it's worth it.

So are you building them to sell?  Just wondering as you seem to have made a lot of this pedal.

Edit:  I don't mean this in a confrontational way, btw.
