Hello.
I'm building a serendipity and I've found in a store near my house  a pair of TL2272 at 1€ each; if I want to use the AD712 I have to order it via mail and it will cost me 2,5€ plus 3€ shipping; so the question is: if I decide to use the TL2272 will it sound like a Serendipity or like something else? will it change the pedal in terms of sound? ??? ??? ???
I'm also planing to build a snarkdoodle and I have not found a CD4049UBE but a CD4049UB; is it that OK? ???
Thank You
I know my english is kinda crappy, I'm sorry :(

It will be a subtle difference IMO w/ the TL2272.

I'm not sure on the cd4049...

I'd probably buy more than one just in case.

Finally I decided to buy the ad712, I want the real thing...
I found the 4049UBE too. I've bought 5 of each and sockets as well.
Thank You very much!

FWIW I liked the JRC4558D better than the AD712 or the TL2272 (or anything else for that matter) in my Serendipity. I prefer the cheaper, lo-fi opamps in that one. The distortion seems to sound more cohesive the attack less hard.
