Sorry if this has been pointed out previously. I'm sure I've looked over this old Electro-Harmonix brochure before, but I never noticed this listing in it:

The "Big Stone"? I searched around and can't find any info on it at all, yet everything else listed in this brochure is legit, even the "Queen Trigger Wah" (which are extremely rare). Is there a "Big Stone" out there, or is it what became the Polyphase?

Judging that the price matches the queen triggered, i'd wager it's the wah format version of the bad stone.

Yeah, they tended to use the term "pedal" to mean wah/expression type treadle pedals. I haven't seen this particular unit before though.

Never mind, I thought I saw it, but it was an octave multiplexer in wah pedal form

I FOUND IT!

Ok sort of. In that ad the "Big Stone" is listed with the model number EH-5801. This can be found as the "Bad Stone V2" on some schematic archives. Here it is:

You can see the "Pedal Pot" listed on it. So yeah, it was a Bad Stone with foot control. Neat.

Its also mentioned on this page: http://www.davidmorrin.com/home/trouble/troubleeffects/bad-stone (he has apparently seen a gut shot of the beasty)

...Or I could have been less dumb and just gone straight to a database to look this stuff up. Ugh, my brain is toast today.

I guess they just changed the name on the thing.

Thanks for all the research! You guys figured it out; they are simply referring to the Bad Stone Wah pedal, which actually is very rare. I think maybe it was just a typo, and they meant to say "Bad", not "Big". Now the question is:  what does the switch labeled "Bend" do?
