Joe Gore's cool germanium fuzz round up stirred up a bit of renewed interest I noticed, so I've built a few Mk1s.
The first HUGE one is for a guy down south. He asked for a big box, I said I had big (1590B) large (4S6500), and ridiculous (1590DD).
He went with ridiculous of course.  ;D
The etch is his band's name.

When I did the board layout I was actually thinking 1590A...

I built a 1590B sized one too.
I forced this one to work by changing the bias set up rather than just grabbing different trannies. It's biased a bit hotter, but has a cool, almost trumpet-y sound. Trannies are a pair of MP38A and a single GT404.

I did a little clip. Playing is a bit uninspired and it's only mono, sorry about that. I'm still working out my new Focusrite audio interface. :P

I'm really impressed you managed to squeeze a battery in the first one!  ;)

Cool builds dude, I do love your etched boxes, very nice look, and you manage to pick some really unique cool graphics!

I love HUGE pedals.. they just look hard as nails and yours is no exception. Great looking etch also.
