When I get some extra time to clean it up, I'll post my full Eagle library for everyone. There are quite a few custom components I've made for it that you guys might find useful.

C - when you add the component in in your schematic, the DIL16 should show up exactly as what you are describing: the schematic drawing is a rectangular box with 16 individual pins. Do you not have that one? It should be under gm-IC library then it's the DIL16. In the layout portion, it will be a normal 16 pin IC.

Actually, I just used the generic 16 pin op-amp used in the Guassmarkov library, so there's nothing special about it. It's the DIL16 package.

I do have some custom ones made for analog delays though: an MN3101 and MN3005, I believe.

AFAIK, the pin-outs of all dual op-amps are standardized. I've never come across one that didn't have pin4 as Vgg and Pin8 as Vcc. So, they are all interchangeable.

Single and Quad amps are different in pin-out but are also standardized.

Just my $.02's here: I really like TL072s for signal processing stuff like choruses, eq's and so on. They are a very useful, general purpose low noise op-amp. But, I really don't like them at all for any overdrive or distortion based effects. They sound too smooth to me. So, I suggest maybe stocking up on a few other types like the NE5532, LF353N, TL2272 and JRC4558. All of these sound great and would be good subs in OD type effects.

Yep, I think that's what they used in the first run. Good score...they are pretty expensive now.

Also, it does not have to be an LF353N. Any quality low noise dual op-amp would suffice, including a TL072, NE5532 and probably even a TL062 (low current version of the 72).

I'm a bit backed up on orders ATM. We've had complete chaos here over the last week: $3k in plumbing repairs and my mother-in-law had a stroke and then a heart attack a couple days later. She's actually doing very well now: they were both mild. Anyway, if anyone is curious as to why their order is taking longer than normal, I thought I would pass along that I'm not slacking! I should have the majority of them finished up tomorrow

I put c4 on a switch so that I could use only one trim pot instead of two. Actually, my trimpot was changed to an external pot (the 'boost'). So, the boost knob adds more gain to the effect, and when you switch the cap in it goes from flat boost to boosting the midrange. To me, it was about getting the most versatility from the pedal and putting that control on the outside rather than inside.

Overall, the effect is very mid range, with or without the boost. One thing you can try is altering the value of the PCL cap. That stands for 'presence limiting capacitor' according to the Blackstone manual. You can try increasing it up to 1n for guitar, and probably 10n if you want to try it on bass. That should give you a fuller range if that's what you want. You could also try changing C6 to 100n, although I don't think it will have as dramatic of an effect as changing the PCL.
