Title: John D Cronise “The Storm” Distortion Pedal?
Post by: lego4040 on March 10, 2024, 04:47:17 PM
John D Cronise uses a Metal Muff from Electro Harmonics. Is there any info on making one of these? Is it a Big Muff version with special tweaks? If so how do I get that sound other then buying that pedal, that's not fun. I want to build it
Winter is back here in Buffalo Ny

I haven't been able to find anything. FSB has a thread, it seems to possibly be an MT2 with a mid boost.

It's a metal zone with a fixed mid frequency and without the boss buffer.
It doesn't sound exactly the same, transistors are different and such.
There's absolutely nothing muff about it so no modifying a muff circuit to be done.
