If you plugged in reverse polarity without a polarity protection diode then you'll have to replace the diodes and chip and transistor

Tech Help - Projects Page / Re: Fixing PCB Eyelets?

OK I managed to fix it :)

Another question though:

The PCB is an Aion Refractor Klon clone. I'm trying to wire it for true bypass.

So looking at this schematic: https://www.dropbox.com/s/nu4bbm7ezrpijkj/aion-refractor-centaur-documentation.pdf

SW1-3 is my output. SW1-1 is the buffered bypass so I guess it should be left unwired?

What about the led switching? SW2-1 and SW2-3 are used for that but i'm not sure how.

Thanks!

Thanks.

So should I not solder the pots directly to the board again since the little bit of weight\pressure might remove the remaining eyelets?

There is also a dual gang pot that I need to desolder, any tips on doing that without any further damage?

Thanks alan.

I checked for continuity and they all checked fine except for one, which still has a complete eyelet on one side, does that mean the connection to the next component is on the other side?

Should I pass on soldering the pots directly to the board again since the eyelets that are left a pretty fragile and just use wires for them?

So I soldered PCB mounted pots the wrong way and a few eyelets came off while trying to remove the pots.

Is there a way to fix this? And what if some eyelets only came off on one side of the board? Would the circuit work properly if the pots are soldered on one side only?

Some of the eyelets only broke in half, so half of them are still in there, would they provide the proper connection?

This really is turning into a nightmare for me... Help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Do other univibe clones have this volume issue as well? I just watched some deja vibe clips and it doesn't have a problem matching unity.

Thanks brejna

So I messed around with R1 and R2. Jumping R1 gives a nice little volume boost but still not unity. Raising R2 adds treble which I don't really like.

Any other ways to raise the volume?

So biasing affects the mods volume? How do you control the bias?

So I put in the missing R8.

With intensity on max the vibrato is pretty subtle, and is only noticeable when the speed is pretty high, it also boosts the volume a bit when the volume is on max. Is this normal?
If I change R1\R2 to give the chorus mod more volume would it raise the vibrato's volume as well? Because there's a big volume difference when changing from chorus to vibrato and i'd like to balance them and not raise the vibrato's volume even more.

Thanks

OK I think I found the problem, I forgot put in and solder R8 :)

Troubleshooting always ends with some lame human error for me.

Any way to check that without unsoldering the switch? Because that's a nightmare... :)

Thanks i'll try changing R2.

What about the vibrato mode not working? A faulty switch maybe?

Hey guys,
I'm having some problems with my Harbringer One build.

When the volume is at max on the chorus side the volume is below unity, when I switch to the vibrato mode I get just the dry signal with a hint of vibrato.

Any ideas?

Thanks
