Wow, this looks just great!! I've not been into chorus for a while, but this is pretty hot! Why haven't I made a Zelda-themed box yet??

Same here in GA! It's brutal. Plus the humidity is worse!

Got 2 to put in a build I'm giving to a friend earlier this week. They were partly plastic but look okay. I'll get a better look tomorrow and let you know...

+1! I have the dpdt on-on-on switch from smallbear, but am at a loss for how exactly to wire this correctly

Diggin it!! I like the hand painting!! Something i've been wanting to get more into. I've been super curious about that comp since I found that thread the day he posted it by chance... Instead of writing that 10-page paper on feminism last month. Shinfo

I gotta try it!

You right. Because if I even began to know what I was talking about, I would have finished this project 5 months ago!

I'm in the exact same boat.

When I went through mine with a scope with my engineer friend, we came to the conclusion I may have killed the 3207 with static. Now I have to decide whether to get a new 3207 or just convert it to 3007. At this point, i'd almost rather do the latter.

Hmm. Well my roommate/bandmate has had one for many years now. I thought it was fantastic at first, but I'm pretty over it. I don't want to sound like I'm trying to contradict, but I don't think it takes pedals well at all. It's too warm to play clean much and just sounds like it's trying to be something it's not. I'm just kind of over orange amps altogether I think.  I do however love my AC4 to death and need to look into modding it some to make it even better. Hmmm!

+1. A buddy of mine is working on a studio and asked me to build him some. Would love to hear a little feedback from someone who has tried it.

This is the most ridiculous thing I've maybe ever heard in a production pedal. Finally a perfect mate for my fuzz factory. Together they'd make the most perfectly matched useless duo of all time! Like two Aqua Mans.

What I'm trying to say is that I want one way too much!

Did my first batch of pedals with envirotex last week. All turned out really nice. I had predrilled them, then after they set up, went back and very carefully either scraped out excess with a razor or mostly I just re-drilled them very delicately. No biggy.

Good luck!

General Questions / Re: 12mm pots for mini boards

I had the same thought yesterday. Though I am currently working on cramming an OCD on vero into a 1590a with 16mm pots. It will be a happy day when it's done, though so far the hardest part has been the finish. Bughhh!

Hey gang. I just bought a Marshall Vintage Modern and am going to build a switch for changing channels which is super simple -- just a momentary tip to ground thing. However, this won't allow for me to use an indicator to tell when I'm in the low or high range.

Anyone have an idea on how to use a momentary switch to toggle an LED? Obviously i'd be using a momentary DPDT.  Idk if I could use some kind of Relay circuit or what? Running it off 9v would be preferable for obvious reasons. Thanks ahead for any ideas!

Thanks Jacob! I can't wait to get this thing fired up. I'm putting in BAT41s and TLE2072s.  I'm pretty crunk about it!

General Questions / LT1054 in Sunking!?
March 03, 2012, 10:33:31 PM
Hey everybody. It's spring break and I've got to finish some PJs I started over Xmas.

Anyway. Can I use the LT1054 in the sunking? I'm thinking I could either cut the trace between pins 1 and 8? Or I read in another post that ibodog said to just bend pin 1 up so it doesn't connect.

I'm trying to get this PJ done without ordering anything new and I think this is the last hiccup.  Thanks gents!
