looks bad ass, and non-Jar Jar Binks-ish

No Ewoks either!  Yay!  Really liked the first movie (Episode IV?) and lots of bits in others, but felt they became more and more like launch vehicles for video games, action figures and linked marketing by fast food chains as the story went on.  After a while it seemed kinda formulaic too: some cute kids, a few wacky CGI characters, 1 broody lead, some serious supporting players, various interesting supporting races and some some cool military hardware linked together by a action scenes that translated well to video game levels and fitted within the overall crisis-driven story arc.  I liked what JJ Abrams did with Star Trek though, so looking forward to this.  Wasn't looking forward to Harrison Ford as an old Han Solo, but he looked great and "Chewie ... we're home" had me whooping and wanting more.  I'm such a geek.
