Harbinger One fine tuning advice needed

I wrapped up my Harbinger One last night and it fired up right away. Sweet! However, I have questions about dialing in the two trim pots. Is it ideal for the lamp to go from bright to completely off, or should it be pulsing bright down to dim? Also, should the indicator LED be pulsing in time with the effect at all times or does it drop below the threshold of triggering the LED? Should the photocells actually touch the lamp or do you back them off a touch? Lastly, do you prefer it before or after dirt (or where do you like it in your effects chain in general)?

I like mine with the trimpots set in a way that doesn't push the lamp much, I found that for the best tones the lamp doesn't have to shine very bright at all, you're better off with a moderate to low-ish glow (at 75% intensity, for example). The lamp should not go fully off I feel. Just go moderate with your fine tunning and you will definitely find the sweet spot.

The two mixing resistors are worth fiddling with too. Can't recall their values but they are at the end of the circuit. They can affect the sound and make it more or less to your liking, I got some great results with that.

I like mine after the fuzz for that squishy washy kind of sound but before overdrive for that low end throb.
