I finally finished my Chunk Chunk. The build was not difficult but making sure I had the right parts was a pain. I ended up needing 2 resistors to finish my Pastie Drive and a 3n3 cap to complete a SuckerPunch Over drive. So those will come soon.

Here she is. I had a loud squealing sound from the gain last night, but boxed it up and figured I would dial with that by lowering the volts to the j201s. After I got it together no more squeal. This pedal is HEAVY Metal at its finest. The Led is a Red with very high resistor so it looks a little like a burning ember

I see Tech 21 made a few. I ended up getting BlackBird and Plexi Drive PCB boards. I also have a Tweedy Bird and Professor Tweed in the works

Does anyone know of any good amp sim pedal clones? I think Joyo makes a few. I already have something for tweed.

My SMD soldering tip is to use some tape to hold the SMD in place for the first solder spot. Seems obvious but I overlooked it for so long.

I ended up getting the ones from Small bear at the same time as the tayda ones. Small bear is on the left and the tayda one is in the right. You can see the differences
