So, I'm wanting to do something like the mini BiComp (ross and orange squeezer in one box). I haven't see any guts of the Mini BiComp, but I'm wondering if it's SMD in order to get both of those circuits in one 1590B box. Does anyone have one, or seen the inside of one that could shed some light on it? I know I'll most likely just put them both in a BB enclosure, but the smaller footprint would be incredible.

Maybe a 125B would be deep enough to carefully "stack" the two circuits.... hmmm. The wheels are turning......

I'm fairly certain that vex uses a 125B, cause I'm pretty sure they're special order from Smallbear. If that's te case, you could easily get them both in there without having to go with SMD. using standing resistors and jumpers would help condense the ross layout.

Great idea though. I just am finishing up a compulator layout. Looking forward to comparing that to the Ross.

the analogman mini bi-comprossor is in a 125B, definitely.

I link would help, http://www.buyanalogman.com/Analog_Man_Mini_Bi_Comp_p/am-mini-bi-comp.htm

by putting them on the same PCB board you can save alot of space really.  I'm betting its not SMD.

Yeah, I really didn't think it would be SMD. Just wanted to ask around and rule it out. I'll go with a 125B and work on a layout. Thanks!

there is a pic of the 2001 pcb version, I don't know if it has changed since then. about halfway down

That's of the regular BiComp, I was wondering about the Mini version
