We all know what these are like by now, I just like posting in this forum! These were my last two Sunking boards, so now they're all gone.

The first is a stock simple sunking with a pair of 1n34a diodes (black stripe). The second has a diode selection switch to change between 1n34a and red LED clipping. Usual method of building, the print shop decal over the PPP powder coated enclosures. I think the first here is Copper Translucent and the second is the 18K gold. Both look much better in person I think. In fact, I think most pedals look better in person than in the iPhone pictures I take...

And the Guts.

And the Guts.

Hope you've enjoyed!

Mind if I ask where you got the Centaur logo for the 2nd one? I'd love to put that on mine, but I can't find a good version of it anywhere :(

I did enjoy them! The 2nd one is really the money!

Very cool and tidy. Love the copper(?) color on the first one in particular too.

Yeah, I like that color an the layout as well. I prefer just the Ge diodes, so that layout works best.

I have my own PCBs for the 'custom drive' on the way...

Gotta love the transparency of the Sunking! Personally, I prefer the Ge diodes. The LED sounds a bit too harsh for my tastes. Nice demo!

jkokura

I built another.

Great looking pedal.  Certainly one I'd be proud to have on my board!

What switch did you use for switching between the diodes? I'm planning on doing something similar. I have some 1n34a's, some BAT41's, and some LM313H's i want to switch between. So instead of a 2 way switch i would need a 3 way switch. Probably an (on/on/on) mini toggle yeah?
