Yes. The Trash Compactor will be moved to the Standard Series but it's just a small layout adjustment from the initial version. I might be able to do that this month. The Mysterioso will come probably in June and I think there will also be a single channel version in the Standard Series as well.

Soon, I hope. I really wanna make it happen. I've also been working on a 1590B octave down project pulled from that circuit.

(But, gimme a little break here cause I spent a few months on this release, for better or worse  ;) ).

Global Annoucements / New projects released today!
April 28, 2024, 11:02:27 PM
After much work I've finally got these finished. Unfortunately, I've had to delay the Ampeg SubBlaster project due to an unsolvable noise issue. So, hopefully I will be able to get back to that one soon.

Fire away with any questions.

I'm just waiting on confirmation from the host that the site has been moved from backup to the new server. It's taking a while.

Quote from: Thewintersoldier on April 25, 2024, 01:20:49 PMWill the softi relay bypass be back in stock? I wanted a couple for a few projects at some point

I'm not sure. I have a new relay bypass PCB designed around the VFE system so I may go with that instead. In either case, one or the other will be made available.

Quote from: Tremster on April 25, 2024, 11:59:30 AMI can only log in with Chrome Browser.
All other Browsers (Firefox, Brave, Edge) kick me out after seeing one page. And I have to log in twice to see that one page. No matter if on phone or desktop.

Thanks for letting me know. The site should be switched from shared hosting to VPS today. This will give me more control and hopefully allow me to configure the server correctly.

Quote from: djaaz on April 24, 2024, 11:45:33 PMClear, thanks. Also, i don't get how the FV-1 works, I'll go RTFM.

It's a very basic DSP that uses external clock control to set its sample rate. It also has its own programming language but there are software tools to do basic visual patch creation via nodes.

The FV-1 has 8 internal programs on board, but can be expanded by connecting it to one or more EEPROMS for additional patches. The Rainbow Machine exploits one of the internal patches in a unique way to make it do...whatever it is that it does.

Quote from: djaaz on April 24, 2024, 08:27:06 PMHi Brian,
Looking at the rainbow puker doc, i'm wondering about the FV-1. Will you provide it or will you provide the code?

I won't be able to offer the FV-1 at this time. Maybe in the future. There is no code for the build as it does not require an EEPROM.

General Questions / Re: Transistor Question
April 22, 2024, 11:10:31 PM
It's almost impossible to break a transistor through mis-biasing or wrong values. I've never had it happen in almost 20 years. You are good!

Wrong voltage? Maybe.

Looks like another day or two. I had to rebuild one project this morning and this evening we are looking after a sick doggie. But, I'm right on the cusp. Can't wait to be done with this set!

Also, I'm going to switch back to a virtual private server for the hosting. That should address the issue with the recent resource limit.

I updated the Projects page with some additional releases. This will hopefully be available on the 20th (margin of error of a day or two depending on how this week goes).
