Title: 3pdt wiring and IO
Post by: okfb on February 15, 2022, 09:46:39 PM
Hi everyone!
I'm currently working on my first project and even though i surfed through many schematics of wirings i still don't understand how exactly does it work, especially led implementation :( Could anyone explain it to me?
Also i was about to use io from mbp library and ran in the same problem... How does led resistor should be mounted? Should L pad and led cathode be traced and anode conected to ground? Thanks in advance!
p.s sorry for any spelling mistakes i might have made....

Did you see the "Footswitch Wiring Essentials" in the tutorials section?

It doesn't matter which leg of the LED the current limiting resistor (CLR) goes to. The short leg (negative / cathode) of the LED always goes to ground and the long leg (positive / anode) always goes to you positive power supply line.
