Title: Egodriver bass pedal conversion
Post by: k.rock! on March 25, 2011, 03:54:06 PM
So I built an Egodriver for a friend a few months ago and he loves it but he wants to use it for bass. I now that what I need to do is change the input and output caps but was wondering if any of you has a good suggestion onto good values for these? Thanks in advance!

You don't necessarily need to change the output cap.

A good value for the input would be 22-33nF. 47nF is probably too high. 10nF would work also.

you could also play around with the filter cap values, ie C8 could be increased.

If you want to get rid of more of the high end, you could increase the op-amp feedback caps, ie C2 and C5.

I would socket them so you can adjust.
