Whoa. Those are some crusty trannys! Dude, your stuff lately looks like it came out of a salvage operation.

Haha, you nailed it Jon...:)

Not that i'm salvaging anything but i trying real hard to get some decent crusty looking enclosure...

This one is a mix of overbaked paint, propane torch and paint thinner..... ;D

The footswitch comes from a heavily used late 70's Morley Power Wah Booster..Volume..lol, that i modded for a customer and kept the FS...for this kind of built :)

WIN! ;D

Thanks for the comments guys, really appreciated seeing what pops out of this board.

I got to say that i got the board populated from Andrew, but it still would have looked like that if i had too populate it this morning.

Can someone tell me why there's a diode accross the trannie?

For the enclosures that i did lately, i'm just working on a new style of thing..., after doing splatters, relic'd and grinded...., need to do different stuff, testing out the water...., it's R&D! Hahaha!

It reduces the effect of temperature changes on the transistor. It's more common in Rangemasters than fuzzes to my knowledge.

You can source some from www.tubesandmore.com, i bought 7x 50feet spool from a BYOC forum mate....

I first bought it for some amp modding and future building, but it's just a cool addition in pedals... :)

Very nice work.  But those knobs are too shiney to be found in a salvage yard  ;)
