That's awsome, I've had my eyes on that pedal for years but never played one. Did you etch the board?

I am REALLY surprised to find jiu-jitsu guys here. I guess BJJ has grown more than I realized.

I haven't trained much in the last two years because of multiple injuries but I was with Gracie Barra as well. I'm in Texas and trained with Patrick Head near Beaumont. Draculino is about 100 miles from here and is who promoted Patrick to black belt.

If you trained with Rob Kahn then you probably know Pat Hawk Hardy (or atleast of him). He was my first BJJ coach and Royce used to come down a couple of times a year.

So how long did you train and where do you guys live?

I trained for 2.5 years until I got diabetes and took a couple of mounths of to recharge, when I came back I dislocated my shoulder and tore  articular capsule apart at the first session. This was 2 years ago and I hope to get my second surgery this fall. until I'm fully recovered I just train now and then with my brother who is a brown belt under marcelo yogui santiago. My first jiu jitsu club was Gracie Barra Lidköping, sweden.

Good to see some fellow Jiu Jitsu Artists here!

Tech Help - Projects Page / Can I use theese DC jacks?
August 07, 2011, 07:55:53 PM
http://www.banzaimusic.com/Lumberg-PSU-1614-10.html

I ordered a couple of theese and when a got them I noticed  that there are only two solder-lugs. Since I don't really know anything about electronics I thought I ask if I'll be able to use theese like a would a normal dc-jack along with a batter  or would plugging a dc-adapter in harm the battery?

Tech Help - Projects Page / Lunar Module problem
August 01, 2011, 01:45:50 PM
So I just finished soldering up a Cosmopolitan "Lunar mod" but i ain't working. I get sound after C1 but not after R2. I have a test-rig I always use and it has never failed me before so jacks and so on shouldn't be the problem.

Did everything acoarding to this http://www.madbeanpedals.com/forum/index.php?topic=2219.0 but my C13 is 2.2nF (couldn't find a 2nF). The Soldering on this board was much harder than on the fabed ones so it lookes pretty crappy but I think it should be ok.

so... whats wrong with this picture?

that's just beatiful!

That did it, thank you very much for that quick response!
Now I only need to stuff it in a enclosure.

I just finished building a Egodriver, no subs, followed the documentation. I'm very happy with the sound of this pedal but I think the output is way to high. If I set my amp up for a clean tone and moderate "apartment-volume" and then stomp my pedal it blows the roof of the building. If the gain-knob is set anywhere above 9 a' clock I can't back of the volume enough.

If i turn the amp way down and crank the gain on the pedal it sounds like heaven!  ;D

Is this normal for this project?
Anybody else had this issue and what did you do to fix it?

/Markus
