Here's my latest, a simple delay based on culturejam's Ersatz Verben. really I just screwed with some cap values to change up some of the tones on the delays and resistor values to increase the delay times. really cool circuit and alot of fun to build.
If you don't know Zatoichi, it's a series of Japanese movies about a blind swordsman based in the Edo period of Japan (That'd be the 1830s to around the 1840s). The first film was made in 1962 and they continued for quite a while, I have all of them in my collection and they are among my favorites. They were filmed in a period when Japan was just starting to come out of the post WW2 shock that they experienced, film, culture, and art had a sudden massive influx of western influence and these movies have a unique (to me anyway) way of letting you see what the remnants of the old culture of Japan was like and how they were adapting to their new way of life after the war. If you haven't seen them then I encourage you to check them out, you never know, there's enough of these movies that you might find one that you like.
This pedal was my first time working with ICs. It's alot of fun and this circuit has inspired me to do more and explore with ICs and delays/reverbs etc. My wiring isn't great, and there's one solder joint I realize now looking at the pics I should've fixed, I'll get it later.

Clean & simple style with offset knobs. I dig this a lot. Great job.
This is the first I've heard of the circuit and the movies. I'll have to check 'em both out.
I love the graphics! Cool story, and I don't think I've seen a pedal that I like these knobs on more than yours. And the knob layout looks great with your graphics too. Beautiful wiring too!
Awesome! Be creative and have fun. 8)
Thanks for the comments gents!
Nice work. I also am not familiar with this delay. Which means I have a new one on my list...
