Hey all,

So I just etched my first boards ever, two quasars and two egodriverrs and they came out pretty good. But I think I mightve left them on too long because they are starting to oxidize a little it looks like. I want to tin them but can't figure out a good process with the resources I currently have. It took almost 35minutes, maybe it was too cold or i wasn't agitating enough.

If I just use some rosin core paste flux and trace the traces and then a little bit of heat and solder, would that work well? Or do I need to get liquid flux with non-flux solder and spread across the whole board??

Thanks a bunch!
Andrew

the oxidation probably won't do any harm, it might not be worth your time unless you really want shiny traces.
