New peaches day!

My first fruit harvest from my first fruit tree.
I'm gonna have the shits for days.

There are probably that many more on the tree that could use a little more time.

That looks great, you must be someplace very warm, we're going down close to freezing tonight though we did get a massive harvest of rhubarb on the weekend.

If my photos are missing again... they're hosted by photobucket... and as of 06/2017 being held hostage... to be continued?

Looking great!
Meanwhile Mandarins are next to get harvested at my place... Yum...

Ooh looks good! I can't wait for my first harvest, planted a couple apple trees last year.

Last year wasn't so good for me, we were extending our house so I didn't have time to fertilise the vegie patch and we didn't get much out of it unfortunately.  We did get 2 bucket loads of apricots though!   Apricots seem to love the climate in Melbourne Australia, glad I planted one.

I have a bunch of citrus trees too.
Lemon, lime, and orange.
They are all just saplings now though.

I don't know why ii picked so many citrus.
I'm hoping the lemon or lime tree dies and I can replace is with avocado.

mmmm. I'm very jealous.

You need to DIY canning, next, I don't think anyone eats everything that comes off a tree. :)

Yeah, I'm definitely going to have to look into storage for all my fruit.
It feels quite wasteful to just throw them into the field behind my house.

Get a dehydrator. I have family that owns property with an old apple orchard and every year I go harvest a few bushels, slice them up and dehydrate them. Much less intimidating than canning for me and a very tasty snack! I'll bet peaches would be really good as well.
