The Kotelnikov is cool. It sort of reminds me of a GML compressor in that, even with moderate amounts of compression, it has me scratching my head, wondering "is this thing on?"

there are projects i work on that will have a lot of parallel compression that i end up need very little L2 style limiting if at all

however if you feel you need that is my favorite

this plugin is 1 of many that is included is a subscription service that i an very pleased with 24 bucks a month and if you have a ilok2 there is a free demo
again there are the free option work great but you have to not over do it( lim 6 im looking at you...but i love that guy)

I really like Fabfilter's limiter. Heard good things about Slate and I've used some good hardware like the Manley before. Use a few stages of compression and limiting, with subtle, pleasant clipping if you're going for really loud.

I am a huge fan of PSP Vintage Warmer

Not so much for limiting, but more so for taking the digital "edge" off a mix.
