Probably Monday or Tuesday these will be available: Road Rage, Kingslayer, Sparkplug and Retrograde. I'll be getting the new docs together this weekend and getting some demos done of the Kingslayer and Sparkplug. The Retrograde has been absent for a while, so I've been keen to get a new PCB done for it. It will still fit in a 1590B.

I expect the next batch of releases to be in a few more weeks and will at least include the Nautilus and new Auquaboy. Maybe some Sparklehorns, too and anything else I might get completely finished.

Now that's some good news!

I'll be ordering ASAP, buying a 12-pack and turning off my ringer for the duration of my long weekend.

nice!  I've been looking forward to seeing what you are up to with these two projects

but is it alive?
and what about the harbinger? is it alive too?

madbean

Yes, both are alive. I realize I've put them off for quite a while....I will do my best to get them finished and available ASAP. I've actually put in a lot of time into both so believe me, they will get done :)

My top priorities are the Nautilus, Harbinger, Aquaboy, Fishhead, Stage Fright and Zero Point right now. All of these will be completed and released within the next two months.

Just as a preview, here's the Aquaboy DX. This should be the final prototype as I am 99% this is just right. As you can see, it will be a much easier fit than the Dirtbag for a 1590BB, which is a plus. There are spots to select LFO type (square/triangle) and a trimmer in the feedback path so you can easily control exactly when the delay goes into oscillation on the Feedback pot.

What happened regards testing 3205s vs 3208s on this? I see the tails have been dropped too, are you thinking of releasing this as just a 3005/3008 project and a seperate 3208 delay? Or have they been dropped entirely.

I decided the deluxe version should stick with 2x MN3005 or v3205. I think 4 BBD's to bias is just a bit too complicated for some and will increase the likelihood of frustration. And, it would also be a pretty big challenge to make 4 BBDs fit in a 1590BB with everything being through-hole and 1/4W resistors. Maybe with 1/8W it would be possible. I just did not seriously consider it.

I do have a 300ms version (regular Aquaboy) with 2x BL3208 done. However, there is a problem with it which I have not been able to solve (massive signal loss at the expandor) so I'm holding off on that until I can spend some more time on it....it's kinda up in the air whether or not to release another Aquabopy, or just stick with the Deluxe since it has double delay and modulation. Maybe if I could squeeze it down to a 1590B---now THAT would be cool.

harbinger, zero point, stage fright in a couple of months. that would be a nice christmas.
cool. we're waiting patiently.
thanks

Oh my god. When people talked about stacking op amps, it was meant literally?

Hhhhrrmm. Now I'm pondering stacking TL074s in the Kingslayer .........
