Here's the list of stuff that I am having made. I am placing this order probably tomorrow, so the boards will arrive right at the end of the month.
Re-stock:
Cupcake, Green Bean, Nautilus, Retrograde, Wolfshirt, ZPSDX
New/Revised
Stage Fright, Harbinger One, Sparkplug Rev.1, FatPants2013
I am really happy to be done with the Stage Fright and Harbinger. Both of these went through a LOT of prototyping and revisions.
--------------------------------------
The Dirtbag 2013 is moving to April. Also, I will be doing a small revision on the Weener Wah for April. I don't know anything else beyond that at this point in terms of other projects.
Whoop!
🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
I hope to grab a few of the ZPSDX myself, I hope that's a big part of the order! :)
I guess the stage fright won't be part of phaser month that for me then
I can't wait to build my dual phaser.
Hi , I was wondering what was happening with the sharkfin .
I think I accidentally deleted it from the Projects Page, but it is still definitely happening. My hope is to wrap up that and the Mood Ring reverb for next month but no promises as of now.
Smashing!
Looking forward to the new phaser and fatpants...
Are you planning on restocking the Weener wha soon? Promissed a good friend I'd build him one...
Thanks Madbean
Yes. I'm making a couple of changes to the Weener to reflect the feedback from some of the builds here. The Peak and Filter trimmers have been removed and there will be a spot to use a rotary switch for three different filter caps instead. Also, there will be a gain trimmer on the input transistor. It's pretty near the same size/dimensions...just a few parts shifted around.
Any chance of a peak at the build docs for the Stage Fright and Harbinger so can put an order together?
Thanks for these, they have been eagerly anticipated here!
Looks like I'm building 4 pedals in April!
:D
I was so excited about Dirtbag 2013 and it's March release... Can't wait... :(

Man, the newer build docs are about 20 steps above and beyond. Excellent work, Mr. Bean!
Fantastic, frightening stuff!
I can't wait.
Noticed one goof on the doc. 47K is listed twice on the shopping list and looks like one of them should be 4K7.
Thanks for the catch. I updated the doc. It should be (10) 47k and (16) 4k7 resistors.
22k is also listed twice
Thanks. It should be (2) 22k resistors. I've made the correction on the doc.

I agree on this one. They are becoming very through and it's great that your providing a bit of tech information as well. :)
Thanks! I'm glad people appreciate the extra effort.

Absolutely. The build docs keep getting better, IMO.
Much appreciated.
I appreciate the extra info: it massages my information hungry, yet addled, and burned out brain. 8)
great to see the quantity of each part. Thanks
I have to agree with everybody here. The build docs you are putting out these days are second to none. It's really obvious that a lot of thought and effort went into them.
the harbinger doc looks amazing, and for a lazy ass like myself these recent "shopping lists" are great!! eheh...
I wanted to chime in and say that the new build docs are some of the best out there. Keep up the awesome work!
They ate fantastic man, thank you. I can haz stage fright on 4/1 for real? No April fooling? I needs another retrograde too, gonna build one for myself.
Great project as usual!
Do you think this forumvibe mod would work? (C6=C7, C8=C10, C11=C14, C14=C17)
Could it be useful?

Fine with me. I'm impatiently waiting for that Bad Stone. Yuuum. Bad Stone.
Here's a little more to whet your whistle. Pickdropper just sent me this pic of my Harbinger artwork, etch up and ready to rock. This was a result of the little benefit we did last year...I won his laser engrave auction!
Awwww sh****t!
It's phaser time!
Im super Super stoked about this project (as you might be able to tell;) )
I think I'll have to start saving for a laser etching machine...
1/4/13 could be an expensive day for me :)

Thanks for the early BOM for the stagefright. I couldnt tell from the BOM, which one is better to use, the 13600 or 13700?
Phaser year, no doubt!! All this stuff is great! Can't wait to hear it!
I think the 13700 is less noisy, but the 13600 will work if thats all you can get.

I had to look back to when I last used a LM13700 and it was the Autobahn pedal, I didn't have any noise problems using that chip. It was really cheap as well :)

Shipped! The sale and new boards will be available on the Projects Page tomorrow. Today I want to finish the two remaining docs (FatPants and Sparkplug). I'll have the PCBs on-hand by Friday.
Demos to be done: Harbinger, new Sparkplug, ZPDX. I probably will not demo the new FatPants since it is mostly identical in tone to the previous version.
Stage Fright and older FatPants demos are here:

Excelent. Tomorrow is when I send my thesis to my committee for their review. I think a celebration in the form of getting several new PCBs will be in order. ;D
Woohooo

Yeah it went live about 5 min. ago.
Yep :)

Did you finish the updated guides for the SparkPlug and Fatpants?
They will be up later this afternoon.
Cool, thanks! :)
Brian, got any teasers for the Fat Pants Jr?
I've started getting into 1590a builds and like everyone says, thems is addictive!
Thank you.
Six new builds on the horizon. I don't know which one to do first.
New boards bought ;D
New boards bought. And old ones, just to be safe ...
Ordered... including a Pastyface, since the closest I've ever gotten to that sort of thing was my Rangemaster :D

It will be stripped down--just a volume knob and boost switch and no input buffer..for 1590A specifically. Same basic sound with less options.
Thanks Brian, sounds great.
just ordered a bunchastuff.
;D excited
Harbinger ones ordered! one for me and another for a friend! :)
Ordered!
;D.
Order placed. Thanks, Brian.
Yaaay I can haz phaser now! I wonder if he'll throw in a pick with every order?
I placed mine too!!!
Man! Your build docs are top notch Brian! Superb stuff :o

Ordered earlier! So excited for the Stage Fright and Harbringer..Bring it on!
Order sent..Harbinger and Stage Fright. :)
We would definitely be interested in some more pepper sprays!
Thanks a whole bunch bean!
Ordered and errm, ordered ;)
It's cheaper for us international types to do separate <$50 orders and have them shipped via 'flats'.

I never realised that the form of entertainment that Nanny Ogg rates higher than Grand Opera originated in Yorkshire....
(So, Juan, how long do the ferrets stay in yer trousers?) ;) :)
As long as no one notices...
'As long as they don't start biting'?
Apparently it's best to make sure they're well fed before putting them in your trousers.

Ha ha. He might think "wanker"....or maybe not. I had a Super Sport for a while. Got it as a "second" even though it was pretty flawless. Really wish I had kept it.
I'll get a demo done of rev.1 up ASAP. I've got it boxed and ready to go. Today will be a pretty busy one already though.
You know, when I placed my order, I didn't realize that the Madbean guitar picks were cryogenically treated.
You really need to advertise that more, Brian. ;D

Yeah...I hope this is working okay for international people. It seemed to be the best compromise to keep shipping prices as low as I can. But, if it becomes a source of frustration, people need to let me know. A 2oz flat cost 2.90 to ship most places overseas which I think is very reasonable. Most orders come out to 2oz using the 7x10" envelopes, which themselves weigh 0.5oz.
I really hate these new USPS prices.
