This may be a silly question. I have DPDT switches that are solder lug. In the note is says that both lug and PCB mount will work. If I use the solder lug do I insert them in the PCB holes or use wires to connect to the board. The solder lugs fit in the PCB holes. I'm also using solder lug pots as well so those I obviously will be wiring to the board.

Solder them directly to the PCB. Pins will also fit but obviously be looser in the pads.

Thanks man. One more ? Does the envelope LED have to be 3mm? I think I have some orange 3mm's but was wondering if 5mm would work as well. Do i have to change the resistor?

3mm or 5mm or whatever is fine. Hell, you could do 10mm. It is only an indicator LED for visual feedback. Size or type should not make any difference to the circuit operation.
