My friend cannot log in to his madbean forum, he can chose to have a password reminder sent to his email but he cant remember the email he used to register, is there a way he can get around this?

Here is my build. Wasn't too hard really, it's a well thought out layout. 1 small issue i had was when biasing, i cannot remember now which BBD it was but I could not bias it via the test point so i just did it direct from the 3rd pin. Happy with it.

I saw a forum post don't think it was here or any of the other guitar pedal forums but it was a while back I just cannot find it now. It was about the shortage of 2N5457's, if anyone else remembers seeing it, is it true?  I've stocked up recently as you can never be sure of these things.

I'm trying to get hold of someone at smallbear but nobody is replying to my email, I want my recent order to go to my billing address as I put the wrong 1 in on checkout. I'm in the uk and don't want to ring them from here can I get through to them somehow?

on my build I get noise when I kick in some dirt, is it suppose to do this?

Maybe my power supply is the problem, its just a cheap standard adaptor.

Also what is this 6-pin thing?

the sample and hold side works but the filter doesn't, should i try swap out IC3?

Maybe this sounds familiar.... you put the pcb together it works a rest you then put it away in a box. Weeks later you decide to make an Enclosure for it only to discover when it's all built it doesn't work, not grounding out just sounding different or doing something weird. It's really pissing me off. Not a build in particular several different ones at different times. It's like they need to be put into a Enclosure straight away or they're fukd

I have my board outline done but not in the correct width, now without having to re-do the board outline again can i somehow increase the board width. help is appreciated. Thanks

I got the pdf for this project which says its unverified at the top, has anyone verified this project before i attempt it?

What are the most important numbers when finding substitutes, so many considerations, hfe, mhz etc etc

with the extra pins that are on the board, normal pinout of an MN3007 is that pin 1 is ground and in this circuit the added pins would send voltage to pin 1.

I went back and built the Tonepad EA Trem the other day, all working just that the RATE (B100K) is reversed so clockwise the rate is slower. I can't see why it would be, anyone point me in the right direction to get the rate better, i would have thought a C100k might have worked but it didn't.

When you look at data sheets for ic's some have pins labelled cp1 cp2, what are these?

using Eagle, once you have your board shape how can i get components centred, there must be a tool that can do this. Trying to get the LED pads so they are exactly centre of the board etc etc

im in the middle of doing this ts9 project from Aion and the clipping is confusing me
i am just doing the stock ts9-no mods, the BOM says 4 1n914 and jumper the others

however in the pdf (page 4) it only shows 2 diodes in stock

this is the silkscreen, can anyone draw on for me where the diodes go for stock version. thanks

ive come across 2x 2N5457's they were labelled .40v so I assume I matched them at some point but never did anything with them, would they work for a p45 project.

Anyone do a diy looper recording project, maybe one can be made using an answering phone recording chip or something similar, I dunno ...just an idea.
