Open Discussion / Lovetone Ring Stinger Manual?
October 26, 2016, 10:05:30 AM
Does anyone have a copy of the manual for the lovetone ring stinger that they'd be willing to share?

I want to try and understand its CV capabilities to see if it's the right thing for me to build before spending a bunch of money.

I'd love to buy one of your sans amp boards if you have any spare too, I've been dying to give one a go.

Sorry to bump an old thread but I've been having a think about this might have come across something that could be very useful if I can work out one flaw.

I've found this: http://www.velleman.co.uk/contents/en-uk/p507_k8094.html

I'm not 100% if it's possible from looking at the ISD17240 datasheet but if there's a way to make it loop the recording then this would be ideal.

I tried a CD4001BE for the 4001. Still having the same problem. Does anyone have any suggestions to where the best place to look for problems is? I've gone over the board a bunch of times to check for obvious errors and I can't find anything.

It's not playing back, not 100% if it's recording. When put into playback mode the dry signal gets cut, which strikes me as odd.

Tech Help - Projects Page / Loophole problems

Hey there, I've built (and re-built) my loophole pcb and I'm having some problems. When I hit the record switch both the LEDs come on, not just the red one. This leads me to believe I have  a problem in the switching part of my board. I've used a HCF4001BE for the 4001 IC. Is that my problem or do I have to look elsewhere?

Digitech will usually just send you the factory schematic if you ask for it. They've sent me several. And the response time is insanely fast.

This is correct, I just asked for the gonkulator schem and in the time it took me to make a cup of tea it was in my inbox :)

If you can't find them in the US let me know and I can order them and post them to you. It's usually about 5 euro to ship to me from there.

I always build FF with bias trim pots or normal pots because I like having the option of being able to adjust it easily so I can get more gated or bigger sounds from it. I'd recommend doing that in the future :)

Does anyone have the build doc for the v3 Road Rage board, I checked the discontinued projects thread and in the archive and the only one that come when I downloaded from there is the 11/2011 version.

man i wish coolaudio would make a 3005 clone

How much chance do you think we'd have in asking coolaudio about it to see if we could possibly get them to make some?

I bought some off ebay from a seller who has reportedly given real chips but the ones I bought were fakes and paypal/ebay didn't refund my money which was a major bummer so be sure to do your homework even if you're using paypal.

Which eBay seller? Why did paypal not refund?

Paulfreejazz or something along the lines of that but when he messaged me he used the email FunkwardTechnology. Which is another ebay user I found when looking for the ICs so I'd be careful with those two.

Paypal didn't really say, they just said they where siding with the seller and that I couldn't do anything else.
