Open Discussion / Re: Shop still closed?

I certainly get that. We all need time to chill. I'd just bought the parts for a Current Lover, and can't find my PC board I bought two months ago. Put it in a "safe" place. So I've got the parts and the enclosure, and no board. But I'm appreciative of what he does, and don't begrudge him some time off.

Open Discussion / Shop still closed?

The web page for the boards says the shop will be closed until the 15th, but its the 17th and it is not open yet. I hope that there is no problem.

Thanks for replying! That makes sense. If they were that much, then it I can understand why the daughter board was cost effective. The MN3005 chips are now pretty much the same price. I don't need the daughterboard and have the simpler build.

I was reviewing the instructions for the Total Recall leading to a parts purchase, and wondered what the pros and cons of the two MN3005 chips vs four MN3008 chips. If the delay time is the same, I feel like the four chip version must have some benefits or madbeans wouldn't have the option for four chips via the daughter board. Am I missing something?

Thank you for replying! I'll try the Road Rage then, and use the 15 V tap. I'll post how it works out.

I'm assembling the parts to build a Current Lover, and wanted to run it at 15 V. Does the Road Rage provide enough current? If not, has anyone tried using 18 V in and adding a regulator circuit to step down to 15 V (like in the 18 V M117 MXR Flanger)?
