Love the Glitch!

Any chance anything like this could become a project?

I would quiet like one to see what all the fuss is about, but I fear i'd be in over my head with it, still being a n00b.

The new projects have me more excited though, especially with the video clips.

I do agree that keeping it around will get new customers in the door, it was a clone (Zombi) that first introduced me to madbeanpedals.com But if there is pressure from the original manufacturer, I'd say it's not worth your time in hassle when you could put it to better use inventing your own cool original pedals.

Just my £0.0125295, at current exchange rate.

I forgot to say, I just ordered some Ferrite Beads from Doctor Tweek yesterday, haven't tried them yet but reports look promising for reducing RF.

QuoteThat sounds like an added feature to me. .  Being in the south, my pedals occasionally pick up religious stations and sometimes hispanic talk radio.  I played at a party once and the guitar player engaged a fuzz face before we started the song and through the speaker came a very passionate missionary baptist preacher saying, "not only does it mature us, not only does it strenghten us, but SUFFERING...brings us closer to God."  Then we kicked into When the Levee Breaks.  (which we fucked up pretty bad, but that's not the point.).

Hahaha, I like that a lot.

I can imagine Zvex making a pedal that picks up RF and then using it as a gimmick to sell em.

Wow! These are some great tips. I especially like Mark_McQ's simple box flip, I am angry that I didn't think of doing it.... Anyway there is always next time :D

Thanks for the warm welcome guys.

I began ordering a few bits and pieces from Dr. Tweeks and banzai yesterday.

I've taken thetrend77's advise and i'll be starting with the Slambox.

Looking forward to it  ;D

Just Thought I'd say hello.

I am pretty new to all this DIY and electronics malarkey and have very little knowledge of electronics full stop (well except that it hurts if you put a fork in a plug socket).

I have jumped into the deep end and ordered the following from the site:

Zombii

Slambox

Rump Roast

Karate Shop

Boomstick

I have almost certainly bitten off more than I can chew, but I figured that if I was going to get one PCB sent all the way to England, well it might as well be 5 :)

I can't wait to get stuck in!
