well that fixed it, good catch! but now when i screw it shut it doesn't work at all, and i'm too tired to keep opening it up to try and fix it and not find the problem, i'll look at it again tomorrow night.

Good choice. At least you know what the issue was, now it's just grounding and that's easy to solve.

all fixed, but not it sounds a little more "tubescreamer" than i remember, probably just a matter of dialing it, can't do it right now though got a current lover to finish
