Just finished the Aquaboy DLX (15V with road rage, 2 x XVIVE MN3005)

All seems to work fine, but my clock frequency (3101) doesn't want to go below ~ 11 kHz, when the build doc says it should be around 6.5kHz. I tuned it by ear to where I don't hear clock noise in the audio, and the max delay time is about identical to my Total Recall with 4 x  MN3008.  It sounds great. Is it higher because of the higher voltage? Do I just not know how to measure frequency?

Hey mate,
in which pin are you getting 11kHz?
Build doc says in pins 2 and 4 you should get half the frequency oscillation.
If you are measuring other pins (5 or 6) you get the Fosc and not the clock frequency which is half the Fosc.
So probably I am imagine that your frequency on pins 2 and 4 is 5.5kHz.

Also clock frequency doesn't change depending on the voltage.
Even in 9v or 15v you should get the same frequency clock.

Hope it helps,
Panos.

Thanks for the reply. Thought I was measuring 2 and 4, but will recheck tonight. I appreciate the info!
