Title: LFO Board
Post by: the3secondrule on January 23, 2011, 03:06:14 AM
This could be an interesting little Utility board, to be added to other circuits, ala' the modulation add on for the aquaboy?

just a little LFO PCB that outputs to an LED - can then place an LDR across the pot you wish to modulate...

something along the line of FC's Clarinot LFO board here:

Yes, this could be a useful little fellow. There's also the LFO from the DMM, which is only a one-knob deal with a chorus/vibrato switch. This post actually kind of opens a pandora's box because I have considered developing a string of utility/add-on type boards that could be plug-ins for a variety of effects. For example, a rotary switch clipping selector for dirtboxes with everything mounted on a pcb. Or, maybe a TMB tone control with recovery gain stage that could be inserted in the middle of a signal chain. That kinda stuff.
