I'm thinking about building these two effects into a single enclosure then running an a/b switch to pick which one is active (following an on/off true bypass loop)

the idea being you could have one switch that does feedback loop/or oscillation feedback for whichever circuit is active.

do I have the diodes right? (per madbeans instructions on the aqua boy as 'back to back diodes')

Yeah, I think Brian needs to clarify "back to back" diodes. I took that to mean two diodes in parallel as in two clipping diodes...

I took it to mean diodes - to - ...so yeah I'm a little confused on that one.
