Post by: jimilee on June 11, 2013, 04:41:53 PM
So finally here is my Zero Point and my stagefright, both sound fantastic, and as always excellent work Dr. Bean! The audio blows on this one, not sure what happened.

Wow, Jimi! Your ZP is amazing. I think that's handsdown the coolest enclosure I've seen you do.

Yeah the ZP is boss. And the Motorhead theme is most suitable for a bassist!

Wow! Thanks Jon! That means alot coming from you. I learned I should wait for the waterslide to dry completely or it will come up on the edges!
After I did these 2, I reread the tutorial on how to do enviro,so then next ones will be much better.

I too was inspired by those before me. Whenever I come across a cool image, I save it. I've had this one for months now. The corners were just a bonus I guess. Still trying to improve enviro, I know what I'm going to do next time to improve thanks to Marauder and Juan solo.

The "Ouija" Point is slick (but I'm a little scared of the Stage Fright).  Both pedals are on my build list!

Both look great Jimi, no one's mentioned yet how neat the insides are on these complex builds, your best builds so far i reckon, all the best, Matt.

Stage fright sounds great. The pulsing light is neat, but it sounds like every other phaser I've built so far.

Thank you matt, I really appreciate that. The stage fright started out looking neat and went down hill pretty quickly.  :P

Stage fright has sort f a different type of sound, almost more springy sounding. Can you hear the audio clip I posted ? I re recorded it.

Oops overlooked the clip.  Good god that thing is springy.  Might have to put that on the list too.

It's a really neat build, fits like a kit build.dont put the dc adapter or jacks in the top.or use smaller ones, this was a huge pain.

ZP is truly a "Mystifying Oracle". Nice job on both.

So... enviro. It looks like your first experience went pretty darn well. What's your take on it?

I really like it,my third pedal turned out much better, I went back and read the tutorial and made some adjustments. It's the behemoth pedal. Really protects much better than spray epoxy or clear coat. I've got the fourth one planned out already. The only thing is it adds about 3 days to your build time because it has to cure longer. I don't like to start the enclosure until the pedal is working on the test rig.
