Title: PNP transistors and Negative Ground
Post by: aunchaki on February 02, 2011, 05:45:55 PM
I've got my board and am waiting for delivery of parts for my Zombii! I ordered a pair of PNP Germanium transistors form SmallBear. My plan is to include a 9V jack for external power and NO battery (I have a 1Spot and various generic 9V wallwarts).

I just read the Zygote project PDF, and it goes into some detail about PNP transistors with Positive Ground and NPN transistors and Negative Ground.

Is this going to be an issue for me?

Thanks!

No. The Zombii is a negative ground design that uses PNP transistors. You're all good.
